Track and Field to Open Indoor Season at Texas A&M Reveille Invitational

COLLEGE STATION, Texas- The University of Houston track and field team opens its 2012-13 indoor campaign at the Texas A&M Reveille Invitational on Saturday. This will be the fourth consecutive year the Cougars have competed in this Invitational.

The one-day, 10-event meet will be held between student-athletes from Houston, Texas A&M, and UTSA. Competition begins at 4 p.m. with the women running the 60m hurdles on the track, while the women's shot put, and the men's weight throw and long jump take place on the field. The Invitational will conclude with the men and women's 4x400m relay at 5:50 p.m.

The Cougars will take a month-long break before returning to College Station to compete in the Texas A&M 12-Team Invitational on Jan. 12.
