The University of Houston men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the 2012 NCAA Division I South Central Regional Championship hosted by the University of Arkansas on Friday at Agri Park. The women are slated to run a 6K course at 11 a.m., while the men will take on a 10K course at 12:15 p.m.

The University of Houston men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Fayetteville, Ark. to compete in the annual Chile Pepper Running Festival on Saturday morning. This meet will be the first out-of-state competition for the Cougars this season. The men are slated to run a 10K race at 9:45 a.m., followed by the women running a 6K course at 10:30 a.m.

The University of Houston men's and women's cross country teams traveled outside of the Greater Houston Area for the first time this season to compete in the Rouge Grass Routes Grand Prix for the second consecutive year on Saturday morning. The men's team took home second place and the women finished in fourth.
