    Ran his first race with Houston at the Lori Fitzgerald taking the lead for the men, placed 7th overall with a 24:44.4 time...quickly became a leader for the men placing 4th after running a 24:27 8K and led the Cougars to a fourth place finish overall at the Texas A&M Invitational...earned his first Conference USA Cross Country Athlete of the Week after his performance at the Texas A&M Invitational on Sept. 25 2007...placed in the top 10 at the Conference USA Championships with a 28:56.1 time...finished the season at the NCAA South Central Regionals leading the men with an 11th place finish...missed an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships by less than one hundredth of a second with a 30:04.3 10k time.

    Prior to Houston
    Competed his freshman through junior years at Rice University...WAC Cross Country Freshman of the Year in 2003...ran a personal best of 4:01 in the mile and had a 10K time of 29:50.
