Cross Country finishes 10th and 13th at Cowboy Jamboree

The University of Houston cross country team competed at the Cowboy Jamboree Saturday in Stillwater, Okla. The men's team finished 10th and the women's team finished 13th. Leading the way for the men was senior Calum Neff who finished 26th with a time of 25.45. Freshman Ahmed Harb finished 51st with a time of 26:39. Also placing for the Cougars was junior Paul Goodwin (73rd; 27:04), freshman Juston Perez (88th; 27:26), freshman Daniel Martinez (96th; 27:44) and freshman Nathan Trimble (117th; 28:31). Finishing in the top spot for the Cougars in 43rd was Oumama Hallal (19:31). Freshman Jessica Cook finished 53rd with a time of 19:48 and junior Adriana Guinn finished 64th with a time of 20:11. Also placing for the Cougars was sophomore Jennifer Harper (87th; 21:51), sophomore Eva Madrid (90th; 22:17) and freshman Erica Hannemann (91st; 22:27). The Cougars will next be in action Sept. 14, at the Texas Invitational. Complete Results Women- 13th
