Conference USA Champions (Men's)

The Houston men claimed their first-ever Conference Championship after completing the 8K race with 73 points to edge out Charlotte by six. The Cougars top runner, junior Tyler Standfield, placed second overall with a time of 24:52. He was followed by fellow juniors Derek Yorek in sixth and>Sesar Figueroa in 12th. All three runners were named to All-Conference USA teams for their performances at the meet. Figueroa went on to also earn All-South Central Region honors after leading the Cougars to a fourth-place finish and Conference USA Male Cross Country Co-Athlete of the Year.
