Placed 24th at the Baylor Twilight Invitational season opener with a time of 19:20.6...finished in the top-3 Cougars for the Lori Fitzgerald Invitational placing 10th (25:14.9)...helped the men to a fourth place finish in the Texas A&M Invitational and a No. 12 ranking in the region after a 23rd place finish with a time of 25:52 in the 8K.

Finished sixth at the Hawai'i Big Wave Classic with a time of 16:09...recorded a 17th place finish at the Texas Invitational with a time of 20:18.68...hada 51st place finish of 26:39 at the OSU Cowboy Jamboree...led the team at the Conference USA Championships with a 15th place finish.

Fourth in the Cross Country Region III meet... Finished 19th at Cross Country State... Third in the two-mile race at State.
