Cougars Ranked Ninth In Latest NCAA South Central Regional Poll

Houston, Texas - The University of Houston men's cross country team is ranked ninth in the latest NCAA South Central Regional Coaches Poll. Arkansas is the top-ranked team in the poll with 150 points, while Texas is second and Texas A&M is ranked third. Baylor is ranked fourth in the poll with Rice being ranked fifth, Stephen F. Austin is sixth, LSU and Sam Houston State are seventh and Houston and Lamar are tied for the ninth spot. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi is ranked 10th and North Texas is ranked 12th.

Coaches voting on the poll include Houston head coach Theresa Fuqua, Sam Houston State's Jesse Parker, Lou Snelling of Stephen F. Austin and Rice's Jon Warren.
