Houston fans will have the opportunity to watch Thursday night's game at BYU from TDECU Stadium as Houston Athletics opens its facility's doors to the public free of charge. Fans will have the opportunity to catch the game from John O'Quinn Field and will have the ability to bring their own blankets and chairs to the iconic field.
With the recent passage of NCAA legislation allowing student-athletes to receive unlimited meals and snacks in conjunction with their athletics participation, the University of Houston Department of Intercollegiate Athletics officially opened the doors of Cougar Café on Sept. 2.
The University of Houston Athletics Ticket Office will reopen Monday morning in a new location as the Football program continues to prepare to play host to UTSA at 8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 29, in the inaugural game of TDECU Stadium.
