Tony Levine Golf Classic Raises Over $113,000 for Cougar Pride

    HOUSTON - With nearly 250 Houston supporters on the course Monday, the 2013 Tony Levine Golf Classic raised more than $113,000 in support of Cougar Pride, the Houston Athletics Department fundraising arm. Held at Sweetwater Country Club in Sugar Land for the 16th consecutive year, 62 teams spread out across the Cypress and Pecan Courses for a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start before live and silent auctions were held at the event's award dinner.

    Taking home first place on the Pecan Course with a gross score of 53 were Murray Stinson, Trey Wilkinson, Greg Cox and Houston Director of Golf Jonathan Dismuke while the team of Matt Houston, Les Haulbrook and Barry Wellings finished first in net scoring at 47.8.

    The team of Jonathan Morrison, Kevin Morrison, Russell Willingham and Bryan Willingham finished second in net on the Pecan Course with a score of 50 while the third-place net score of 50.7 was recorded by the team of Craig Neveux, Thurman Black, Mike Atkinson and Craig Bales.

    On the Cypress Course, the team of James Hong, Joe Gourley, Javier Garza and Ryan King claimed first in the gross race with a score of 52 while Pat Cauley, Kelly McDonald, Kyle Williams and Chris Wright finished atop the leaderboard in the net race at 45.8.

    Finishing second in the net on the Pecan Course at 48.3 were David Murphy, Taylor Hammack, Justin Vaclavik and Dustin Bell while the team of Aaron Warren, Timothy Hanna and John Mitton took home third at 48.5.

    Four competitors took home closest to the pin honors with David Arnold (No. 4) and Dustin Bell (No. 14) claiming the top billing on the Cypress Course and Greg Cox (No. 4) and Brian Teykl (No. 13) doing so on the Pecan Course.

    FOOTBALL SEASON TICKETS & PARKING
    Season tickets for the 2013 Houston Football season are on sale and fans are encouraged to purchase their season tickets early with the 2013 renewal deadline quickly approaching.

    Fans can purchase season tickets covering seven games for as low as $150. Families will enjoy the Memorial Hermann Family Plan for only $299. Under the Memorial Hermann Family Plan, fans will receive two adult and two youth General Admission tickets with additional youth tickets costing only $75 each.
