HOUSTON - Time is running out for University of Houston Football supporters to meet the 2013 season ticket and 2013 Cougar Pride renewal deadlines as fans have until the end of business on Tuesday, July 9.
Fans who miss the July 9 season ticket renewal deadline will have their 2013 seating priority determined after the initial 2013 seating allocation. Fans who make their 2013 Cougar Pride donations after the deadline could see their 2013 seating locations affected in all facilities in which Houston Football will be playing this season.
In addition, season tickets purchased after the deadline will incur additional facility fees due to the Cougars competing in multiple venues throughout the 2013 season.
Fans can still purchase season tickets and make Cougar Pride donations after the July 9 deadline. However, fans who miss the deadlines may see a reduction in available seating options.
As fans make their decisions on season ticket purchases and Cougar Pride renewal for the 2013 season, it is critical to note that 2014 seating allocation in the new Houston Football stadium will be based off their Cougar Pride donations, if they purchased 2013 Houston Football season tickets, football stadium pledges and the Cougar Pride Priority Points System.
Fans looking to obtain a desired number of 2014 season tickets should secure the same amount of season tickets for the 2013 season to increase their ranking in the Cougar Pride Priority Points System.
COUGAR PRIDE PRIORITY POINTS SYSTEM
Seating allocation for all 2013 Houston Football games will be based on the Cougar Pride Priority Point System as of the deadline. Fans should meet the season ticket and Cougar Pride renewal deadlines for their best possible seating at each venue.
The Cougar Pride Priority Point System benefits are prioritized first by fans' Cougar Pride annual giving level and then by priority points within the giving level.
The 2013 season marks Houston's first in The American Athletic Conference with the league's 2013 champion garnering an automatic BCS bid.
This year's unique season-ticket package covers seven games at three locations across the City of Houston. In addition to the Memphis and Cincinnati games, the Cougars also face Southern (Aug. 30), Rice (Sept. 21), BYU (Oct. 19), USF (Oct. 31) and SMU (Nov. 29) at Reliant Stadium.
Houston is in negotiations with Rice Athletic Department officials to play the Nov. 23 game vs. Cincinnati at Rice Stadium.
