110% Club/Take It To The Next Level
110% Club
All Cougar Pride members are encouraged to give 110% and now they have more incentive to do so. All members who increase last year's donation by 10% or more will be invited to an exclusive event.
Membership in the 110% Club is calculated by counting all gifts to Cougar Pride during our fiscal year, as well as the gift portion of donations to special events such as golf tournaments and banquets where Cougar Pride credit is given.
Past Special Events
- 2009: Meet and greet with Director of Athletics Mack Rhoades and tickets to the Houston versus Rice men's basketball game
- 2008: Meet and greet with 2008 Houston Summer Olympians Anastasia Pozdniakova, Yulia Pakhalina, Ebonie Floyd and UH coaches and Olympians Leroy Burrell and Jane Figueiredo and tickets to the Houston versus Memphis men's basketball game
- 2007: Meet and greet with new head football coach Kevin Sumlin and former UH great Kevin Kolb
- 2006: Meet and greet with former UH and Major League greats Doug Drabek and Woody Williams
Take It To The Next Level
Renewing Cougar Pride members have the opportunity to further support Houston Athletics and all 350 student-athletes by "Taking it to the Next Level". For the 2010 fiscal year, donors who increase their 2009 Cougar Pride next donation to the next giving level will become members of the inaugural "Take it to the Next Level" program. Participants will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a road trip for two with the Houston football team during the 2010 season.
