Struck out two of the five batters he faced in 1.1 innings of shutout relief against No. 4 Rice in Game Three of the Silver Glove Series... Threw 1.2 innings of perfect relief against Rice in the series finale of the Silver Glove Series... Tossed a career-high four strikeouts in 2.1 innings of relief against Cincinnati in the middle game of that series...
