Made his season debut with an inning of relief against No. 8 Texas A&M... Was his first action following shoulder surgery since June 3, 2006, at No. 13 Oklahoma during the NCAA Norman Regional... Has missed the remainder of the season after aggravating that injury. NCAA College Station Regional: Made a relief appearance during the championship game at No. 9 Texas A&M.

SUMMER (2006)
Named to the Cape Cod League All-Star Game... Compiled a 2-1 record with 35 strikeouts and a 1.03 ERA in 43.2 innings as a member of the Chatham A's.

Emerged as the Cougars' No. 2 starter in weekend series... Finished second on the staff in wins (8), innings pitched (100.2), strikeouts (82) and third in ERA (3.31).... Teamed with Brad Lincoln to be the second-best strikeout tandem in UH history, tossing a combined 234 strikeouts... Made his season debut out of the bullpen against Texas-San Antonio... Threw 3.1 shutout innings with four strikeouts and only one hit allowed against No. 7 Texas at the Houston College Classic... Held No. 23 Arizona State to only two hits in four shutout innings of relief... Earned his first win of the season after holding Northwestern State to only one run off three hits with four strikeouts in 5.1 innings... Tied his career high with seven strikeouts in 6.2 innings at Lamar...
