    2002 SEASON
    Appeared in eight games out of the bullpen before arm injuries sidelined him for the rest of the year... Threw one shutout inning at Rice and against Fresno State.

    2001 SEASON
    Long reliever who finished with a 3.78 ERA for all games... Compiled a 3-2 ledger overall... Collected wins over Texas, San Diego State and UAB... Worked 47.2 innings on the year... Finished second on the staff with a .250 opposing batting average... Won his first game of the season in his first outing with a 3-2 win over Texas... Allowed only two hits and one unearned run against the Longhorns in five innings... Set a new career high in only his second appearance of the season, striking out six in five innings at San Diego State... Earned his first collegiate save in the middle game of the Saint Louis series... Threw two innings of no-hit relief and added two strikeouts against the Billikens.

    2000 SEASON
    Capped a solid debut season of Division I baseball as an Honorable Mention Freshman All-America selection by Collegiate Baseball... Earned Conference USA All-Freshman accolades... Was the only freshman member of a talented Cougar pitching staff that was eighth in the nation in ERA and 13th in the country in win percentage... Made 11 appearances and was fifth on the team in games started (3)... Made his first college start on the road at nationally-ranked Arizona and handcuffed the heavy-hitting Wildcats to one hit for the first 4.0 innings before leaving with a no-decision... Worked a career-long 4.1 frames at Arizona... Struck out Ben Diggins, an All-America selection and first-round Major League draft pick, in that start... Also struck out third-round draft pick Daylan Holt (Texas A&M) and MLB draftee Bryan Anderson (Southwest Texas State) while in his UH rookie campaign... Fanned a career-high three batters twice: vs. Arizona and Texas A&M... Averaged 6.1 strikeouts and only 1.7 walks per 9.0 innings pitched... All three decisions were to teams that made NCAA Regionals, including wins over Rice and Southwest Texas State and a loss to Tulane... Made Sunday starts against Conference USA rivals Tulane and Charlotte... Pitched 3.0 innings in the start on the road at Charlotte... Held eventual College World Series participant Texas scoreless for two innings in his college debut... ERA was a composite 4.85 while working a total of 13.0 innings in 11 appearances out of the bullpen.
