Is no relation to Donnie Joseph who is a pitcher on the 2008 Cougar squad... Left the team during 2007 fall drills for personal reasons

Competed for the Duncanville Deputies of the Texas Collegiate League... Was a teammate of current Cougar pitcher Jimmy Raviele.

JUNIOR (2007)
Competed in 38 games with 18 starts... Batted 2-for-2 with a triple, run and RBI against UC Irvine during the middle game of that series... Laced a pinch-hit, RBI-single against UC Irvine during the series finale... Slapped a pinch-hit single against McNeese State... Smashed an RBI-double at No. 11 Texas A&M... Came off the bench to lace a triple and eventually scored during the series finale at Marshall. C-USA Tournament: Teamed with Ryan Lormand to hit back-to-back homers against Memphis during the first round.

Competed in 20 games with 10 starts... Returned from an early stint on the DL to start the first and last games at No. 8 LSU... Went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the LSU series finale... Laced a pinch-hit single against Texas A&M... Came off the bench to score two runs during the series finale at UAB.

Named the Southern Division Player of the Week in the Valley League for July 19... Batted .474 (9-for-19) with two home runs, eight runs scored, seven RBIs and a .947 slugging percentage for the Woodstock River Bandits.

Appeared in 37 games with 28 starts during his first collegiate season... Made his collegiate debut against No. 23 Oklahoma State during the second day of the Minute Maid Park College Classic... Went 1-for-1 with a walk and sacrifice bunt against the Cowboys... Came off the bench to bat 3-for-5 with two runs and a double against Pepperdine in the series finale... Blasted a pinch-hit double at Baylor... Smashed two home runs and finished the day 2-for-5 in the middle game of the TCU series... Teamed with Travis Tully on back-to-back homers in the seventh inning against the Horned Frogs... Went 2-for-4 with a run in the Saint Louis series finale...
