Pitched his longest-career relief, throwing for 5.2 innings, while allowing one hit, two walks and striking out seven batters (March 29)... Went one inning of relief, striking out two while not allowing a hit or run against UTSA (April 1)... Pitched 4.0 innings against Southern Miss, striking out five batters (April 11)... In his first Friday start of the season, pitched six shutout innings, allowing four runs, five walks while earning his second win of the season against Memphis (April 17)... Recorded his first career shutout and was the first Cougar this season to pitch a complete game, allowing six hits, no runs, walking one and striking out six batters, while earning the win against Marshall in the series opener (April 24)... Junior (2006): Led the Panthers to a 24-10 overall record and a share of the District 16-4A championship... Finished as a bi-district finalist... Pitched to a 4-2 record with 55 strikeouts and a 2.55 ERA in 35.2 innings of work... Was an All-District 16-4A performer at quarterback.
