Emily Stewart is in her first season with the Cougar Baseball program in 2008 as a student administrative assistant. She will work closely with director of baseball operations Traci Cauley and assist in general administrative duties.

A native of Houston, Stewart is a sports administration major who will be a junior during the spring semester.

After graduating from San Jacinto College with her associate's degree in 2007, Stewart attended UH-Clear Lake before transferring to the main campus. As a student at San Jacinto, she wrote for the school's newspaper, the San Jacinto Times.

Born Nov. 6, 1986, she was married to Robert Stewart in July 2007. The couple lives in Deer Park.
