HOUSTON - With the start of the 2009 season only two weeks away, the University of Houston baseball team will welcome former players to Cougar Field on Saturday for the annual Alumni Game at 1 p.m.

The day will kick-off with batting practice at 10 a.m. before the alums take the field for a 1 p.m. game. Immediately following the game players and their families are invited to a post-game meal and continued fellowship while the 2009 baseball team will take the field for an intrasquad scrimmage.

The series begins at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 20, continues at 4 p.m. on Feb. 21 and will wrap up at noon on Feb. 22.

Cost to participate in the alumni game is $30. The cost includes your meal, refreshments, t-shirt and hat. The cost for additional guests will be $15 for adults and $7.50 for children 12 and under.
