Baseball Begins The Rayner Noble Show on Tuesday

HOUSTON -- With the 2009 University of Houston baseball season less than a week away, head coach Rayner Noble will give fans insight into the season with the start of The Rayner Noble Show on Tuesday. For the second season, Noble will join Jeremy Branham from 12:30 to 1 p.m. on select Tuesdays throughout the 2009 season. Fans can catch the show live on the internet by visiting the baseball page at www.UHCougars.com and clicking the live audio link on the baseball sidebar. Noble and Branham will look ahead to the Cougars' season-opening weekend on Feb. 20-22 and discuss a variety of topics. In addition to Tuesday, The Rayner Noble show is scheduled to air on March 10, March 17, March 24, March 31, April 7, April 21, April 28, May 5 and May 12. The Cougars open the 2009 season with a non-conference series against Kansas State at Cougar Field. The series begins at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 20, continues at 2 p.m. on Feb. 21 and will wrap up at noon on Feb. 22. Fans can listen to all Cougar baseball games throughout the season on the internet by visiting the baseball page at www.UHCougars.com. In the radio booth, Branham will join former Cougar letterman Pat Cauley, who begins his seventh season of providing color analysis in 2009. Branham is in his second season as a member of the Cougar baseball broadcast team. In addition to his work with the baseball team, Branham is in his third season as the voice of the UH women's basketball team while attending class at UH. The pregame show is slated to begin about 15 minutes before first pitch.
