HOUSTON - The University of Houston baseball team's game against Louisiana-Lafayette scheduled for Tuesday was postponed due to wet conditions at Cougar Field, head coach Rayner Noble announced.

The game will be made up at 7 p.m., May 8 at Cougar Field.

The Cougars now will head west to face San Diego in a weekend series in California. That series begins at 5 p.m. (CDT) Friday and wraps up with 3 p.m. (CDT) games on both Saturday and Sunday.

Fans should note that USD administrators recently pushed Friday's game time back to 5 p.m. (CDT).

Cougar Baseball games can be heard live on UHCougars.com. Nick Torina will call the play-by-play action with Pat Cauley providing color analysis. Fans also can follow live stats by clicking on the "Gametracker" link on the front page of UHCougars.com or on the "Schedule and Results" page off the Baseball main page.
