    HOUSTON - Due to wet weather, the University of Houston baseball team's game against Lamar scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, was cancelled, head coach Rayner Noble announced Tuesday afternoon.

    The game will not be made up.

    The Cougars now look ahead to this weekend series against Conference USA rival and fifth-ranked Rice at Reckling Park. That series begins at 6:30 p.m., Friday, continues at 2 p.m., Saturday and wraps up at 1 p.m., Sunday.
