A LOOK AT LOUISIANA
Louisiana will take on Houston with a 23-27 overall record and a 7-15 mark on the road this season. The Ragin' Cajuns are coming off a series win at Middle Tennessee in Sun Belt play. The two wins snapped a four-game skid Louisiana had prior to Saturday's contests. The Ragin' Cajuns are led offensively by Ryan Leonards' .335 clip. He is followed by teammate Chase Compton's .330 average and Tyler Girouard's .304 clip. Dylan Butler leads the team with 45 RBI and eight homeruns.
ON THE BUMP FOR LOUISIANA
Louisiana's starter is TBA.
Houston and Louisiana will meet for the second time this season and 49th time in school history. The Cougars own the all-time series at 36-12-1, but dropped a 3-1 decision on March 6 in Lafayette, Louisiana despite a complete game effort by right-handed junior Austin Pruitt. Houston has won 8-of-the last 10 contests vs. Louisiana and is 15-5-1 all-time at Cougar Field.
