TCU HEAD COACH JIM SCHLOSSNAGLE
On Pitcher Clayton Jerome
"He's the ace of our staff and has been for the last couple of years. He's arguably the best pitcher in the league. He didn't pitch well against Houston on Wednesday and when I took him out of that game I told him 'go ice down big man, because we're going to need you on Sunday.' He knew he had to be ready to take the ball and that's what great players do in great moments."

TCU RELIEF PITCHER ROBBIE FINDLAY
"I felt like I came in and did my job when they called on me. Everyone played great out there. The defense came up big, that's a real team championship right there."

"We were trying to win two or three games in the tournament and make it to regionals, but this is unbelievable, The pitching came through, the hitting came through, especially Austin Adams. It was just a great team effort."

TCU STARTING PITCHER CLAYTON JEROME
"After our first loss we had to really fight back bit everybody did a great job. We hit the ball well, played good defense and had some great pitching performances. It was a team effort all the way around."

SOUTHERN MISS HEAD COACH CORKY PALMER
"We played good baseball and I'm real proud of our team. After the Memphis game you couldn't ask for more from these guys. This was a pitchers duel that could have gone either way. They're (TCU) playing good right now, I'm happy with the way we're playing and that's all you can ask for."
