NCAA Austin Super Regional Sold Out

HOUSTON - The NCAA Austin Super Regional matchup between the fifth-ranked University of Houston Baseball team and No. 9 Texas this weekend at UFCU Disch-Falk Field has officially sold out.

The Cougars received an allotment of 600 tickets, which were sold to student-athletes guests and Houston Baseball season-ticket holders first. The University of Texas Athletics Ticket Office is also sold out at this time.

Houston Baseball fans should stay tuned to UHCougars.com and to Houston Athletics' social media sites for the latest information about tickets, news and the NCAA Austin Super Regional, a first for the Cougars since 2003.

To order season tickets for Houston Baseball and all Houston Athletics programs, fans can call 713-Go-COOGS (462-6647) or email seasontix@uh.edu.

Houston opens the NCAA Austin Super Regional at 3 p.m., Friday and continues at 1 p.m., Saturday. If necessary, Game Three of the NCAA Austin Super Regional will start at 1 p.m., Sunday. All three games will be nationally televised with Game 1 on ESPN2 and Games 2 and 3 (if necessary) being shown on ESPN.

The winner of the NCAA Austin Super Regional will meet the winner of the NCAA Stillwater Regional in the opening round of the NCAA College World Series, which is slated to begin June 14 at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha in Omaha, Neb.

Join Houston fans all weekend long as Official UHAA (Houston Alumni Association) Watch Parties are set to take place at Lucky's Pub in The Heights for every Houston Baseball Super Regional game.

Watch parties will begin two hours before first pitch on each game day for the Cougars, beginning with Friday's game (3 p.m. first pitch - 1 p.m. watch party start).
