HOUSTON – Houston and College of Charleston baseball coaching staffs have mutually agreed to move the originally scheduled three-game series set for March 21-23, 2014 in Charleston, S.C. to Cougar Field, announced by head coach Todd Whitting Thursday.
Both programs agreed to move the 2014 series to Houston and follow up with the scheduled home-and-home series with a trip to College of Charleston during the 2016 season.
The newly altered schedule for 2014 now features 33 home games at Cougar Field and 38 games within the city of Houston. The Cougars will also host 13 straight home games from March 11-30, which features contests against Baylor, Towson, West Virginia, Lamar, Texas Southern, College of Charleston, Rice and Memphis.
College of Charleston and Houston will meet for the first time in program history.
