HOUSTON – Houston Baseball head coach Todd Whitting announced the program has signed a multi-year deal with Rawlings Sports, beginning this season.

The deal will make Rawlings the supplier of all baseball specific equipment.

“Our program is very excited about this partnership with Rawlings Sports,” Whitting said. “We are honored to be one of the few programs in the nation to exclusively use Rawlings products on the field. This contract will ensure that our student-athletes will play with the finest equipment available to any Division I school in the country.”

Houston will join an elite list of collegiate baseball teams in South Carolina, North Carolina State, Virginia and Georgia Tech that use Rawlings as their equipment supplier.

Nike remains the “official” athletic apparel provider of Houston Baseball and Houston Athletics.
