HOUSTON — As we near the holiday season, Houston Baseball would like to encourage its Social Media fans on Facebook and Twitter, to join in a 12 Days of Houston Baseball Holiday Contest, which will begin on Thursday, Dec. 13 and run until Monday, Dec. 24.

The 12 Days of Baseball Contest will allow Social Media Fans on the Cougars’ Facebook fan page (Houston Cougar Baseball) and Twitter (@UHCougarBB) page to participate and have the chance to win prizes over the 12-day period.

For fans to be eligible for prizes, you must “Like” Houston Cougar Baseball on Facebook and follow @UHCougarBB on Twitter.

Contest winners will be decided based on a random drawing of the participants who took part in the day’s respective contest. Winners will be announced at 6 p.m. the same afternoon and will be asked to submit contact information to receive your prize.

Prizes consist of anything from autographed baseballs, tickets to a game, throwing out the first pitch to being a part of the 2013 team photo. There will be a different prize each day.

7 days will be on Facebook and five on Twitter. Fans are encouraged to become fans of both social media sites in order to increase your chances of winning.
