Houston Baseball `Fan Appreciation Day' & Alumni Game Set for Feb. 2

HOUSTON -- Poised and ready to hit the field for the 2013 season, Houston Baseball invites fans, free of charge, to its annual `Fan Appreciation Day' and Alumni Game, slated for 1 p.m. Saturday, February 2 at Cougar Field. Former Houston standouts will make their way to Cougar Field in preparation for the Alumni Game, which featured over 54 players, including names like Brad Lincoln, Doug Drabek, Scott Sheldon, Jesse Crain and many more a year ago. The contest will pit the 2013 Cougars vs. a roster of former Houston standouts. INFORMATION FOR BASEBALL ALUMNI Registration will begin Saturday morning at 10 a.m. and batting practice will immediately follow at 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 2. A former players' reunion is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 1. FAN APPRECIATION DAY
