NO. 5 BASEBALL FALLS IN SUPER REGIONAL OPENER
Two early runs proved to be enough for No. 9 Texas as No. 5 Houston Baseball dropped Game 1 of the best-of-three series in the Austin Super Regional, 4-2, on Friday afternoon at Disch-Falk Field.
THURSDAY, JUNE 5 | PRESS CONFERENCE & PRACTICE DAY IN AUSTIN
Houston Baseball enjoyed a day at Disch-Falk Field for its last practice before Super Regional games begin tomorrow afternoon. Join senior Landon Appling on his GoPro experience.

The UHAA will gather in parking lot 115 (which is located behind the softball field - see attached map) 1.5 hours prior to the start of the game. Encourage people to look for the large UH flag. We will provide non-alcoholic drinks and a snack. People are welcome to bring additional food and drink if they would like.

MONDAY, JUNE 2 | ALEX BOX STADIUM
HEADED TO THE SUPERS! COOGS ARE REGIONAL CHAMPS
Playing to keep its season alive and advance to the NCAA Super Regional round, No. 9 Houston Baseball overcame an early deficit and scored 12 unanswered runs to earn an impressive 12-2 victory over No. 4 LSU at Alex Box Stadium on Monday evening to capture the 2014 Baton Rouge Regional title and advance on to the Supers for the first time since 2003.
SUNDAY, JUNE 1 | ALEX BOX STADIUM
COMEBACK! COOGS TO PLAY FOR REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Down 4-0 in the eighth, No. 9 Houston Baseball never let up as it rallied back to tie the game and force extra innings, later coming away with a 5-4 victory on a Kyle Survance two-out, RBI-single, winning in 11 innings over No. 4 LSU to advance to the Regional Championship game on Monday at 7:05 p.m.
BASEBALL STAYS ALIVE WITH 9-5 WIN OVER SLU
No. 9 Houston Baseball kept its season alive with a 9-5 win over Southeastern LA on Sunday afternoon in the Baton Rouge Regional at Alex Box Stadium and will now prepare to face (1) (8) No. 4 LSU in a must-win game to force a Monday Regional final.
SATURDAY, MAY 31 | ALEX BOX STADIUM
No. 9 Houston Baseball dropped its first game of the Baton Rouge Regional on Saturday in a 5-1 fall to No. 4 LSU at Alex Box Stadium and with that the Cougars will face Southeastern Louisiana in an elimination game at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Houston Baseball is set to play Bryant at 7 p.m. at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge on Friday.
THURSDAY, MAY 29 | ALEX BOX STADIUM
Putting together one of the more impressive overall resumes this season has landed Houston Baseball as a No. 2 seed at the Baton Rouge Regional this weekend, announced by the NCAA Committee on Monday during the one-hour, live Selection Show telecast on ESPNU.
Houston will match up with No. 3-seed Bryant on Friday at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN3, which follows the 2 p.m. contest between No. 1-seed LSU and No. 4-seed Southeastern LA in a double-elimination format.
2014 marks the first time the Cougars have advanced to NCAA Championship Baseball since 2008. Houston put the icing on the regular season Sunday when it captured the 2014 inaugural American Athletic Conference Baseball Championship tournament title, a first for the program since 2008.
The championship earned Houston an automatic bid to an NCAA Regional as it continues postseason play with a 44-15 overall record and winners of 12 of its last 15 games, including a 10-4 triumph of No. 5 Louisville in Clearwater, Fla. for the conference title.
Houston will make its 19th NCAA Regional appearance in the history of the program and first since 2008. In the 18 previous appearances, the Cougars have advanced to the Super Regionals three times, last coming in 2003. READ MORE...
