Robert McKiver scored 33 points and Kelvin Lewis added 28 as Houston defeated Valparaiso 91-67 in the quarterfinals of the College Basketball Invitational Monday night. McKiver and Lewis combined to hit 13-of-27 3-pointers. As a team, Houston hit 16-of-36 while Valparaiso hit only 7-of-23 from outside the arc. Houston (24-9) advances to face Virginia (17-15) in the semifinals Wednesday.
