2000-01 (AS A SOPHOMORE)
The only player on Houston's roster to start every game in which he played... started the final 27 games of the season after missing the first two contests with a strained calf muscle...his 27 starts tied for the team lead...led the Cougars in scoring with 13.9 points per game and was second among team leaders with 7.9 rebounds per game and a .679 (74-109) free throw percentage... ranked 17th among the Conference USA scoring leaders and was among the league's Top 10 rebounding leaders... led the team with a .507 (139-274) field goal percentage, 5.1 field goals, 2.7 free throws, 4.8 defensive rebounds, 1.0 blocked shots and 34.5 minutes played per game... his field goal percentage also ranked eighth among C-USA leaders...also was 12th among the league leaders in blocked shots...recorded three double-double performances...scored 11 points and 11 rebounds against Memphis, 12 points and 11 rebounds against UTEP and 15 points and 10 rebounds versus Connecticut... just missed on two other double-double performance when he recorded 19 points and nine rebounds at UTEP and 15 points and nine rebounds against Southern Miss... scored in double figures 22 times... had two 20-point games in 2000-01... scored a season-high 22 points at Tulane and netted 20 points against Southwest Texas State...netted 19 points against Marquette, and Southeast Missouri State... equaled his career-high of three blocked shots against Tulane, Georgetown and LSU... grabbed a season-high 12 rebounds against Texas and pulled down 10 rebounds against Cincinnati... blocked two shots against Memphis, UTEP and Southwest Texas State... Member of the Conference USA all-Freshman team after starting all of Houston's 31 games...one of three players in Conference USA to record 12 double-doubles...led the Cougars and ranked fourth in C-USA in rebounding with 8.6 rebounds per game...his 14.3 points per game was second on the team and ranked 13th among league leaders....was one of C-USA's top five field goal shooters with a .516 (174-337) percentage...was a perfect three for three from the free throw line in the Cougars second round C-USA tournament game with Tulane...also led Houston with 48 steals and 1,099 minutes played...was second among team leaders in field goals made (165) blocked shots (24) and free throws made (78)...was the team's third-best three-point shooter with a .412 (14-34) percentage...recorded four 20-point games...netted a career-high 27 points against SMU, 23 points at Texas, 21 points at Tulane and 20 points at Saint Louis...scored in double figures in 21 games, including Houston's final seven regular season games... registered 13 double-figure rebounding games... grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds against Memphis...also had 14 rebounds in his first game against the Tigers in the Pyramid...registered 13 rebounds versus UAB, Connecticut and Sacramento State... pulled down 12 rebounds at Texas and SMU...grabbed 11 rebounds against South Florida, Charlotte, Tulane and George Washington... handed out a season-high four assists against Ohio and Charlotte... registered three assists versus South Florida, Texas, Texas Southern and George Washington...blocked a career-high three shots against Southern Miss and Tulane...recorded a career-high three steals against Memphis, South Florida, Charlotte and Connecticut.
