    2000-01 (AS A SOPHOMORE)
    The only player on Houston's roster to start every game in which he played... started the final 27 games of the season after missing the first two contests with a strained calf muscle...his 27 starts tied for the team lead...led the Cougars in scoring with 13.9 points per game and was second among team leaders with 7.9 rebounds per game and a .679 (74-109) free throw percentage... ranked 17th among the Conference USA scoring leaders and was among the league's Top 10 rebounding leaders... led the team with a .507 (139-274) field goal percentage, 5.1 field goals, 2.7 free throws, 4.8 defensive rebounds, 1.0 blocked shots and 34.5 minutes played per game... his field goal percentage also ranked eighth among C-USA leaders...also was 12th among the league leaders in blocked shots...recorded three double-double performances...scored 11 points and 11 rebounds against Memphis, 12 points and 11 rebounds against UTEP and 15 points and 10 rebounds versus Connecticut... just missed on two other double-double performance when he recorded 19 points and nine rebounds at UTEP and 15 points and nine rebounds against Southern Miss... scored in double figures 22 times... had two 20-point games in 2000-01... scored a season-high 22 points at Tulane and netted 20 points against Southwest Texas State...netted 19 points against Marquette, and Southeast Missouri State... equaled his career-high of three blocked shots against Tulane, Georgetown and LSU... grabbed a season-high 12 rebounds against Texas and pulled down 10 rebounds against Cincinnati... blocked two shots against Memphis, UTEP and Southwest Texas State...
