Played in 25 games as a freshman... scored a career-high 10 points in Houston's 60-59 victory over Texas-Arlington...tallied eight points at South Florida, UTEP. and fifth-ranked Louisville...handed out a career-high three assists in his collegiate debut against Prairie View A&M...led the Cougars with two assists against UAB, LSU, Washington, and Southwest Texas State.

Led the North squad to a 106-102 victory in the Texas State High School All-Star Game where he scored 15 points and recorded two steals in 16 minutes...scored 11 points for the North Team in the Houston Area Senior All-Star Game...earned Second-Team, All-Greater Houston honors by The Houston Chronicle...was a First-Team All-State selection as a senior...was a two-time First-Team All-District 15-5A selection...ranked among the top 139 seniors in the nation by Hoop Scoop's Final Rankings...was listed among the top 28 shooting guards in the nation by Prepspotlight.com...ranked among the top 31 players in the state of Texas by Texas Hoops.com...averaged 22.7 points per game as senior to rank among the top seven scoring leaders in the Houston area...led Klein to a 20-14 overall record...averaged 15.0 points and four steals as a junior...ran the anchor leg on Klein's 4x440 relay team that finished in third place with a time of 3:17.69 at the Region II-5A Championships as a senior....also a regional qualifier in track as a sophomore and junior.

Major is business management at UH...born March 8, 1984 in Italy...the son of Dwight, Sr. and Diane Jones of Houston...father was a 10-year NBA veteran and played at Houston in 1970-72...his father also was the scoring leader for the USA's 1972 Olympic Team and ranked second on the USA's 1971 Pan American Games...chose to play at Houston after being recruited by Oklahoma, SMU and Colorado.
