Walk-on guard who joined the team in January...played in three games for the Cougars...played the final minute against South Florida on January 27...also saw action in the final two minutes at South Florida...recorded his only assist and steal of the season against Saint Louis in the OCG Conference USA Tournament.
1999-00 (JUNIOR COLLEGE)
Played one season at San Jacinto College in Pasadena, Texas...was a member of San Jacinto's 30-5 team that was ranked fifth in the NJCAA's final regular season poll...appeared in 19 games for the Ravens...averaged 1.6 points and 0.7 rebounds per game...had a .440 (11-25) field goal percentage...made 57.1 percent of his shots inside the three-point arc...made six of the seven free throws he attempted for an .857 percentage.
1997-98 (AS A FRESHMAN AT HOUSTON)
Originally joined the Cougars after Roy Spears suffered a season-ending knee injury...played in three games...made his first appearance as a Cougar on December 4 against Sacramento State...played briefly against UAB in Houston's final home game...saw three minutes of action at Charlotte in the final regular season game.

Honorable mention all-state selection by Texas High School Magazine after earning second-team all-District 17-5A performer as a senior at Madison High School...averaged 14.5 points and four rebounds per game as a senior...served as team captain and helped Madison finish the season with a 19-12 record that year...was a teammate of former Cougar Chad Hendrick during his high school career...scored 14 points to help Madison reach the quarterfinals of the Houston Jaycees Tournament...averaged 10.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per game as a junior...helped Madison record a 19-8 record during his junior year and second-straight district championship...member of the Honor Roll as a sophomore , junior and senior...received Madison's national history and government awards as a senior...participated in the Nike "Tops In Texas" Fall Jamboree in his senior campaign...earned honorable mention all-district honors as a junior after averaging seven points per game.
