FRESHMAN (2008-09)
Competed in all 33 games with 17 starts during his first collegiate season... Led team with 113 assists and 3.4 assists per game... Ranked among the nation's top-10 leaders for much of the season in assist:turnover ratio... Became only the sixth freshmen in school history to record at least 100 assists in a season... Made his collegiate debut off the bench against Georgia Southern during the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer... Finished with 10 points, including two 3-pointers, a team-high three assists and no turnovers against the Eagles... Made his first collegiate start against Presbyterian during the consolation game of the 2K Sports Classic... Scored 15 points, including three 3-pointers, and dished out four assists against the Blue Hose... Dished out eight assists with a pair of steals against Western Kentucky during the home opener... Scored 14 points and fell just one assist short of a double-double against Alcorn State... Led all players with eight assists and only one turnover against North Texas... Blocked his first shot against C-USA rival Rice... Led all players with five assists and hit all six attempts from the free throw line against C-USA rival Tulane... Led team with four assists against No. 5/3 Memphis. C-USA Tournament: Dished out three assists with a team-high two steals against UTEP to help lead the Cougars into the semifinals.
LINDEN HIGH SCHOOL
Competed for head coach Phil Colicchio as a four-year letterman... Three-time All-State First-Team performer... Helped lead the Tigers to a 103-20 record, four consecutive sectional finals, two section championships and back-to-back Group 4 state titles during his career.. Scored 1,500 points and set the team single-game record in assists... Also was a two-year starter for the football team, earning All-County Defense Second-Team honors. Senior (2007-08): Guided Tigers to a 23-7 record and the Watchung Conference-National Division title... Scored 35 points with eight assists in a game.
