TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Reggie Kohn scored 17 points and Will McDonald and Jimmy Baxter each had 16 as South Florida beat Houston 62-47 Saturday.

Kohn also had seven assists and six steals for South Florida (13-9, 6-5 Conference USA), which improved to 12-1 at the Sun Dome.

Jeremee McGuire scored nine points to lead Houston (6-15, 4-6), which has lost four consecutive games. Teammate Louis Truscott, the conference leader in rebounding, grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds and scored seven points.

Houston shot just 26.7 percent from the floor and never led en route to a 32-19 halftime deficit. The Cougars shot 33 percent overall in their worst offensive performance of the season.

McDonald opened the scoring in the second half to extend the South Florida lead to 15.

Houston freshman Aaron Anderson, who entered the game with only two points this season, scored the next five to start an 8-0 run for the Cougars.

Kohn hit a 3-pointer with 2:32 left to give the Bulls their biggest lead at 58-42.
