NEW ORLEANS (AP)- Damyean Dotson scored 15 of his 19 points after halftime Wednesday night to help Houston beat Tulane 82-69 for its fourth win in a row and sixth in its last seven games.
Malik Morgan scored 12-consecutive Tulane points to pull the Green Wave (10-17, 3-11 American Athletic Conference) within two midway through the second half, but they would go without a made field goal for nearly six minutes as Houston used a 14-5 run to open a 72-61 lead with five minutes to go.
Tulane trailed by at least nine the rest of the way.
Dotson hit 9 of 12 from the field as Houston (19-7, 9-5) shot 56.1 percent (32 of 57) overall and made 15 of 18 foul shots.
Louis Dabney led the Green Wave with 23 points. Dylan Osetkowski added 19 with 12 rebounds and Morgan finished with 18 points.
Following Saturday's game, the Cougars return to the friendly confines of Hofheinz Pavilion to play host to Temple at 6 p.m., Sunday, in a game presented by Maintenance Supply Headquarters during Blackout Weekend for the Houston Men's and Women's Basketball.
Houston Women's Basketball starts the weekend at 1 p.m., Saturday, against Cincinnati, while the Men's team plays host to Temple at 6 p.m., Sunday, inside Hofheinz Pavilion. The first 100 current UH students at the Women's game and the first 500 current UH students at the Men's game will receive a FREE t-shirt.

Parking is available in the TDECU Stadium parking garage with the first 30 minutes free of charge.
Current University of Houston students are admitted free to ALL Houston Men's Basketball game when presenting a valid ID at the doors.
Single-game tickets for Houston Men's Basketball's 2015-16 season begin at only $5 per game. Fans can purchase General Admission single-game tickets for only $5, while Reserved 2 seating is available for only $10 per game. Fans may buy Reserved 1 single-game tickets for $15 per ticket.

Tickets for groups of 10-24 or more can be purchased for as low as $12 per ticket in Reserved 2 for 18 regular-season home games inside Hofheinz Pavilion. Groups of more than 25 people can buy Reserved 2 tickets for only $10 per ticket
