TEAM NOTES

• The Cougars advanced to the C-USA Tournament semifinals for the third time during the last four seasons and the fourth time overall... It also was the 17th time in school history that the Cougars advanced to the semifinals of any conference postseason tournament.

• The Cougars fell to 8-12 (.400) all-time at the Conference USA Tournament.

• The Cougars fell to 36-26 (.580) all-time in all conference postseason tournaments.

• The Cougars fell to 1-3 (.250) all-time against Memphis at the Conference USA Tournament... It also was the Cougars' third straight loss to the Tigers at the league's annual postseason event.

• The Cougars fell to 10-23 (.303) against Memphis... In addition, the Cougars fell to 3-14 (.176) all-time at Memphis.

• This was the 15th consecutive year that the Cougars played Memphis in basketball... The series has been played at least once every year since the 1994-95 season.


INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• Junior guard Aubrey Coleman saw his streak of consecutive games with a double-double snapped at five.


HEAD COACH Tom Penders NOTES
• Head coach Tom Penders fell to 629-421 (.599) during his career... Penders also fell to 102-60(.630) during his UH tenure.

• Head coach Tom Penders fell to 1-10 (.091) against Memphis during his career with all 11 games coming during his UH tenure.

• Head coach Tom Penders is 34-22 (.607) in conference postseason tournaments during his career... That breaks down to 5-5 at Houston; 2-3 (.400) at George Washington, 17-8 (.680) at Texas, 3-2 (.600) at Rhode Island and 7-4 (.636) at Fordham.
