2008-09 Houston Cougars Men's Basketball Postgame Notes
** The Cougars' 59 first-half points were the most since the team scored 59 in the first half at Conference USA rival Tulane (Jan. 25, 2006). ** The Cougars' 110 points were the program's most since a 131-62 win over Florida Tech (Nov. 22, 2005) ** Tuesday's 53-point win was the biggest since the Cougars enjoyed a 131-62 (69 points) win over Florida Tech (Nov. 22, 2005). ** The Cougars' five turnovers were the lowest since committing four giveaways at Tulsa in the College Basketball Invitational semifinals (March 26, 2008). ** This marked the fourth straight season that the Cougars opened the year with a 3-1 start... In 2004-05, the Cougars began the season 2-2. ** With the win, the Cougars improved to 3-0 in the all-time series against Alcorn State...
