** Saturday's game was the Cougars' first action since a 110-57 win over Alcorn State on Nov. 18, 2008, in Hofheinz Pavilion. ** With the win, the Cougars improved to 30-5 in the all-time series against North Texas... The Cougars also improved to 17-2 all-time against North Texas in Houston. ** With Saturday's win, the Cougars won their eighth consecutive game against North Texas... UH has not lost to the Mean Green since a 60-48 setback on Dec. 9, 1964. ** With Saturday's win, the Cougars won their fifth consecutive home games...
