TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Kelvin Lewis scored 21 points to lead Houston 71-63 over Toledo in the team's seventh straight win Saturday night.

Justin Anyijong's jumper gave Toledo a brief lead, 8-7, early in the first half, and it was 12-12 when Aubrey Coleman turned a Houston steal into a dunk with 14:28 left in the half. Houston never relinquished the lead from that point and held a slim lead, 35-30, at the half.

Jonathan Amos added 16 points for Houston (7-1) and Ridley Johnson scored 15.

A Lewis 3-pointer with 12:33 left capped a 10-0 Houston run that changed the tone of the game.

Toledo battled back again but never narrowed Houston's lead to less than 5.

Qa'rraan Calhoun had 17 points for Houston. Coleman had 15 points and 13 rebounds for the Cougars and Marcus Cousin had 15 points and 11 boards.
