Kelvin Sampson Radio & Television Shows Begin Monday

HOUSTON – University of Houston Men’s Basketball Head Coach Kelvin Sampson will begin his weekly television and radio shows, starting Monday, Jan. 4.

For the remainder of the 2016 regular season, Sampson will meet with hosts each week to talk about the latest news in Houston Men’s Basketball. Fans are invited to check their local listings and tune in.


KELVIN SAMPSON RADIO SHOW
The first edition of the Kelvin Sampson Show will air at 7 p.m., Monday, live from Fuddruckers (3929 Southwest Freeway, Houston, 77027).

Each week during the 2016 American Athletic Conference season, Sampson will join host Matt Thomas at Fudduckers to look back at recent games, preview upcoming contests and discuss the latest news in Houston Men’s Basketball and Houston Athletics.

Fans are invited to join the show at Fuddruckers at 7 p.m., on selected days or listen on KPRC 950 AM. Fans can participate in the show by asking questions in person at the restaurant, by tweeting questions to @UHCougarMBK or by asking questions on the HoustonCougarMensHoops Facebook page.

KELVIN SAMPSON TELEVISION SHOW
Sampson will begin filming the first edition of the Kelvin Sampson Show on Monday with the first show airing at 5:30 p.m., Jan. 6, on ROOT Sports.

Sampson will join host Kevin Eschenfelder each week inside Hofheinz Pavilion and the new Guy V. Lewis Basketball Center to discuss recent and upcoming games and talk about the latest news in Houston Men’s Basketball.

If they miss the first first-run Kelvin Sampson Show of the year, fans can check out repeat episodes at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday; 1:30 a.m., Thursday; 5 p.m., Friday and 12:30 p.m., Saturday on ROOT Sports.

A new edition of the Kelvin Sampson Show will air each week with times and dates announced soon. Fans should check their local listings for future first-run and repeat episodes each week.

UP NEXT
The Cougars return to the friendly confines to open American Athletic Conference play inside Hofheinz Pavilion against Tulane at 8 p.m., Tuesday, in a game presented by Maintenance Supply Headquarters. That game can be seen on ESPNU and heard on KPRC 950 AM.

From there, the Cougars take a break before hitting the road to meet No. 22/23 Cincinnati at 6 p.m. (CST), Jan. 13, inside Fifth Third Arena. That game can be seen on ESPNU and heard on KPRC 950 AM.

Fans also can call 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647) or visit the Athletics Ticket Office from 10 a.m., to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. To purchase tickets in person, fans can visit the Athletics Ticket Office located on the northeast corner of TDECU Stadium, just outside of Gate 1 off Cullen Boulevard. Parking is available in the TDECU Stadium parking garage with the first 30 minutes free of charge.

Current University of Houston students are admitted free to ALL Houston Men's Basketball game when presenting a valid ID at the doors.

SINGLE-GAME TICKETS
Single-game tickets for Houston Men’s Basketball’s 2015-16 season begin at only $5 per game. Fans can purchase General Admission single-game tickets for only $5, while Reserved 2 seating is available for only $10 per game. Fans may buy Reserved 1 single-game tickets for $15 per ticket.

MINI-PLANS
Fans can purchase tickets to any three remaining home games in the 3-Point Pack. Reserved 1 seating for the 3-Point Pack can be purchased for $40 with Reserved seating available for only $30.

GROUP TICKETS
Tickets for groups of 10-24 or more can be purchased for as low as $12 per ticket in Reserved 2 for 18 regular-season home games inside Hofheinz Pavilion. Groups of more than 25 people can buy Reserved 2 tickets for only $10 per ticket
