    HOUSTON - As the University of Houston Men's Basketball team prepares for the start of Conference USA play, fans can learn the latest information by tuning in to The James Dickey Show on SportsTalk 790 AM, beginning Monday evening.

    The weekly radio show will air live from 7 to 8 p.m., on SportsTalk 790 AM on Mondays for the rest of the Men's Basketball season. Fans also can hear the show live on UHCougars.com by signing up for Cougar All-Access. A monthly or annual charge is required when signing up for Cougar All-Access.

    Dickey will join host Jeremy Branham each week. Monday's first show of the 2012-13 season will air at the SportsTalk 790 AM studio. All remaining shows will air from Baker Street Pub & Grill (5510 Morningside, Houston, 77005), and fans are invited to join Dickey and Branham at that restaurant for great food and fun times.

    Dickey and Branham will discuss the latest news in Houston Men's Basketball, recap recent games, look ahead to upcoming contests and discuss the world of college basketball and college athletics.

    Fans can call into the show and talk with Dickey and Branham by calling 877-477-9080. Fans also are invited to submit their questions to the show through Houston Men's Basketball official Twitter account at @UHCougarMBK.

    UP NEXT
    The Cougars open Conference USA play and wrap up their season-long, six-game homestand when they meet SMU at 7 p.m., Wednesday, inside Hofheinz Pavilion. Following the SMU contest, Houston continues its C-USA slate when it travels to Hattiesburg, Miss., to face C-USA rival Southern Miss at 2 p.m., Saturday.

    From there, the team returns to the friendly confines of Hofheinz Pavilion when it meets league-rival UCF at 5 p.m., Jan. 19. That will be the start of a brief, three-game homestand with Tulsa (Jan. 23) and UAB (Jan. 26) to follow.

    Single-game tickets for all remaining home games and a variety of ticket packs to suit any budget are on sale now.
