CINCINNATI - University of Houston Men's Basketball head coach Kelvin Sampson and his staff will be sporting some casual attire on the sidelines this week in a pair of road contests at Cincinnati on Wednesday and again at SMU on Saturday.
As part of Coaches vs. Cancer Suits & Sneakers Week, Sampson, his assistant coaches and support staff members will wear sneakers with their usual game attire. Sampson and the Cougars will join with coaching staffs at the high school and collegiate levels from around the country to show their support for the American Cancer Society's fight to save lives from cancer.
Fans are reminded that there are many steps they can take in their everyday lives to reduce the risk of cancer, including eating right, exercising, making healthy lifestyle choices and following the American Cancer Society's recommended cancer screening guidelines.
