Cougar fans cheer and look on inside Hofheinz Pavilion.

HOUSTON - Another busy weekend is planned around the University of Houston Athletics Complex, so Athletics administrators have issued a parking advisory for fans coming to Saturday's Men's Basketball game vs. UAB.
The Cougars play host to UAB at 5 p.m., Saturday, inside Hofheinz Pavilion. In addition to that event, Houston Athletics will play host to the Howie Ryan Invitational and Multi's, while the University will enjoy multiple Music School events this weekend. As a result, parking for Saturday's Men's Basketball game may be affected.
Parking in lots 16B and 16C (Yellow Lots) may be limited. However, additional parking will be available in lots 16D, 16E and 18A.
Donor parking for 15C Named Lot, 15C, 15H Named Lot and 15B handicap parking will remain the same. Overflow for Lot 15C (Red Lot) as well as cash parking will remain in the Stadium Parking Garage in the middle entrance on Holman Street.
Fans should remember that they are guaranteed a spot in one of the aforementioned parking lots as long as they display their parking passes. Fans are strongly encouraged to arrive early to support the Coogs!
With recent upgrades, renovations and scheduled construction projects, it is an exciting time to be a part of the University campus. Unfortunately, Cougar Pride and Houston Athletics do not own the parking surrounding our athletic facilities. Fans with any questions can contact Cougar Pride at 713-743-GOUH (4684) or email email@example.com.
Head coach James Dickey and members of his staff will wear tennis shoes for Saturday's game for the annual Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers awareness weekend.
With their wardrobe change, Dickey and coaches across the country help raise awareness about cancer and the importance that nutrition and physical activity play in reducing one's risk of the disease. Additionally, this weekend helps promote the American Cancer Society as a place for people facing cancer to turn for free information, day-to-day help, and emotional support.
With that in mind, fans are encouraged to wear sneakers to Saturday's game to show their support for cancer awareness. Shasta and Sasha will join other mascots from local businesses in a basketball game at halftime. Participating mascots include Sharky and Nero (both of Houston Aquarium), Sporty (Sports Clips), ChaCha, Shark and Louie, the Bubba Gump Shrimp (all of Landry's) with Miller Girls serving as referees. Children of all ages will certainly enjoy this spectacle.
Single-game tickets for all remaining home games and a variety of ticket packs to suit any budget are on sale now.
