TULSA, Okla. - The University of Houston men's basketball game time at Conference USA rival Tulsa has been moved up to 3 p.m., Saturday, head coach James Dickey announced Friday evening.

More winter weather is expected to hit the Tulsa area on Saturday night. Working with Tulsa head coach Doug Wojcik and Tulsa administrators, Dickey and his staff agreed to move Saturday's game time up four hours from its original starting time to safely accommodate fans of both teams.

Saturday's game can be heard live on SportsTalk 790 AM with Tom Franklin calling the play-by-play action. Fans also can follow live stats by clicking the GameTracker link.

Despite the wintry weather in Houston, Dickey and his Cougar team had few problems leaving the city earlier in the day. With classes cancelled for the day, the Cougars worked out in Hofheinz Pavilion on Friday morning before heading for Hobby Airport.

After an uneventful flight, the Cougars made it to their hotel in downtown Tulsa around 5:30 p.m., Friday.
