HOUSTON - After one of the most remarkable runs in school history, the University of Houston men's basketball team will return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1992.

With four wins in four days, the Cougars earned the program's 19th berth in the NCAA postseason. Houston punched its ticket to the Big Dance with an 81-73 win against No. 1 seed and 21st-ranked UTEP on Saturday in the Championship title game.

Now, the Cougars will learn their opponent, game date and time with the NCAA Tournament Selection Show at 5 p.m., Sunday, on CBS.

Details about ticket prices, hotels and other pertinent information will be posted at UHCougars.com as soon as it becomes available Sunday evening or Monday morning.

WATCH PARTIES
Cougar fans are invited to join members from the University of Houston Alumni Association, which will be hosting a Selection Show Party at the Ragin Cajun on Richmond Avenue.

Fans are invited to come early and enjoy food and drinks with their fellow Cougar boosters as Houston learns all the details about its first-round matchup.

Fans should note that the Cougar men's basketball team is not scheduled to make an appearance at any watch parties.


RADIO/TV INFORMATION
Regardless of who, when or where the Cougars play during the NCAA Tournament First Round, fans can listen to the game live on SportsTalk 790 AM with Tom Franklin calling the play-by-play action. The pregame show is slated to begin 15 minutes before tip-off.

Fans also can watch the NCAA Tournament live on CBS.
