Men's Basketball Looking for Sports Analytics Assistance

HOUSTON - The University of Houston Men's Basketball program is looking for students interested in sports analytics, and candidates should apply soon.

The Men's Basketball sports analytics staff will analyze college and NBA game film and study ways to improve the Houston Men's Basketball program through advanced statistical analysis. Sports analytics staff must be prepared to work both practices and games throughout the week, including weekends and holidays.

Interested applicants must be current University of Houston students in good academic standing and must be team players with positive work ethics. Students with statistical and computer programming backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Previous basketball experience is not required but recommended.

Sports analytics staff will be working on a voluntary basis. While payment is not guaranteed, those who are hired will gain valuable experience in the world of intercollegiate athletics and the quickly growing sports analytics industry.
