Men's Basketball Camps Slated to Start in Mid-June

HOUSTON - The University of Houston men's basketball program will host three camps this summer inside the Athletics/Alumni Center, beginning in mid-June.

The Cougars will offer two Day Camps, costing $240 each, for boys grades first through 12th on June 14-17 and June 21-24. The annual Overnight Camp, for boys in grades 5th through 12th, is scheduled for June 28-July 1 and will cost $390.

All camps feature daily individual skills instruction from the Houston basketball staff and players and skill work . Players will be grouped by ages for instruction and drills with divisions divided according to playing experience and ability.

Players will enjoy daily team and individual competitions with individual and team awards recognition at the end of camp.

Players also will receive a free camp T-shirt and attend an NCAA Student-Athlete information session. Lunch is included for all campers with the exception of the last day of the Overnight Camp.

Time: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., each day

Overnight Camp
Cost: $390

Dates: June 28 - July 1
Check In: 9 a.m., June 28 (Quadrangle Dorms • Entrance 6)
Dismissal: 1 p.m., July 1



Day Camp Registration/Check-In

Please arrive 30 minutes early on the first day of camp to check in and complete registration. Camp begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. each day. Arrival and dismissal will be held at the Athletics/Alumni Center (Entrance 15G).

Camp Store
Snacks and drinks will be sold from the concession stand located in the Athletics/Alumni Center. A camp bank will be available to safely keep spending money each day.

Refund Policy
To reserve a spot in camp, a deposit is required. The full cost must be paid in full two weeks prior to the start of camp. There will be a $100 non-refundable administrative fee for cancellations. Campers who leave after registration will not receive refunds.

What to Bring
Campus must wear gym shoes, shorts and a T-shirt. In addition, it is asked that campus do not bring personal articles, including basketballs, to camp to ensure that they are not stolen or misplaced. The camp will be not responsible for any lost or stolen articles.

Parents are welcome to attend all camp sessions. Parking will be available in Lot 16B - Student Lot. Please see the parking attendant at the front of the Athletics/Alumni Center for details.
