HOUSTON - International basketball fans will want to visit Hofheinz Pavilion beginning this weekend as the Cougars' home facility prepares to play host to four FIBA games during a week-long stretch.
International teams from Great Britain, Lithuania and Russia have traveled to Houston to work out and compete in advance of an Olympic qualifying tournament in Venezuela in July.
Saturday, June 23 - 8:30 p.m. - Great Britain vs. Lithuania
Wednesday, June 27 - 5:30 p.m. - Russia vs. Lithuania
Thursday, June 28 - 4 p.m. - Russia vs. Great Britain
Friday, June 29 - 6 p.m. - Lithuania vs. Great Britain
Tickets for each game cost $10 and will be sold on game days only in the Holman Street ticket windows of Hofheinz Pavilion. Tickets will be sold beginning two hours prior to each game with doors to the arena opening one hour before tip time.
There will be no pre-selling of tickets for any game.
