HOUSTON - Beginning Monday, University of Men's Basketball fans who renew their season tickets during the following 15 days have a chance to win wonderful prizes in the Fifteen Prizes in Fifteen Days contest.
Fans who renew their season tickets online or in person at the Athletics Ticket Office are eligible for that day's prize and for all remaining drawings. The prizes include an autographed poster and an autographed ball from the 2012-13 team, an autographed basketball from head coach James Dickey, VIP parking for the entire season, four tickets to the Director of Athletics suite for one home game, courtside seats and dinner for four with Coach Dickey.
The earlier fans renew their season tickets, the more chances they will have to win. Fans who renew before Monday will be eligible for prizes until they are chosen or the contest ends.
One winner will be chosen every weekday, Monday through Friday, from Aug. 6 until Aug. 24. In addition, all Family Fun Plan ticket holders who renew will have the exclusive opportunity to win the Junior Reporter prize for one postgame press conference at one home Men's Basketball game during the 2012-13 season.
ABOUT THE COUGARS
Under the leadership of Dickey and his coaching staff, the Cougars signed one of the nation's elite recruiting classes. This highly heralded group is ranked among the top 25 classes by three national media organizations.
As the program prepares to move into the BIG EAST Conference for the 2013-14 season, these talented newcomers will play key roles in the Cougars' success in, arguably, the best basketball conference in the country.
With the addition of top-65 national recruits Danuel House and Danrad "Chicken" Knowles, the Cougars will have four recent members of the ESPU 100. House and Knowles join sophomores and 2012 Conference USA All-Freshman Team members TaShawn Thomas and Joseph Young.
